At some point in the days while we still have breath we have to ask the question, “What’s the meaning of life?” Why all this? Why pain, why suffering, why breath, and why life?!
Have you ever talked with a rape victim? How about a young wife and mother who just got the phone call that her husbands never coming home? What about the little girl who’s days are numbered due to leukemia?
How do we reconcile these atrocities?
Psalm 19:7-11
7 The law of the LORD is perfect,
reviving the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.8 The precepts of the LORD are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.9 The fear of the LORD is pure,
enduring forever.
The ordinances of the LORD are sure
and altogether righteous.
I waited patiently for the LORD;
He turned to me and heard my cry.
He lifted me out of the slimy pit,
out of the mud and mire;
He set my feet on a rock
and gave me a firm place to stand.
He put a new song in my mouth,
a hymn of praise to our God.
Many will see and fear
and put their trust in the LORD.

Dear church, I am greatly humbled by the opportunities and the favor that God continues to pour on us. This past weekend, I mentioned to everyone the possibility of a campus in Dallas. Day by day that possibility becomes a reality.
